USA 1 – Como 1: Honours even at Stadio Giuseppe Moccagatta

USA were held to 1-1 draw by Como down on Tuesday at Stadio Giuseppe Moccagatta. USA were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 2-1 to Nuova Cosenza. Como are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, USA are in 16th place, with 24 points from 27 matches, while Como sit in 11th, with 36 points from 27.

It was an impressive opening from Como, thanks to La Gumina giving Como the lead at the 39 minute mark, seeing out the first half 0-1.

USA took the initiative in the second half, with Casarini finding the net just before the final whistle. The game ended 1-1.

Both teams used all available substitutes. For USA, Casarini, Palombi and Benedetti, came on for Gori, Mantovani and Chiarello, Como brought on Gabrielloni, Nardi and Cagnano to replace Gliozzi, La Gumina and Álex Blanco.

The referee booked Mantovani, Fabbrini, Tommaso Milanese and Di Gennaro from USA. Como had the worst of it though, with Bertoncini seeing yellow, and Parigini then sent off with a red.

USA will next play Crotone away, with Como facing SPAL at home.
