Ternana 1-0 Perugia: Visitors unable to get win at Stadio Libero Liberati

Ternana Calcio banked all three points against the Perugia in a narrow 1-0 victory on Sunday, at Stadio Libero Liberati. Both Ternana and Perugia arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Ternana were looking to pick up points, following a 3-2 victory against Parma. Perugia, meanwhile, had been hopeful of extending their winning run, after a 1-0 victory against Ascoli. Ternana are now in 7th place, with 10 points from 6 matches, while Perugia sit in 17th, with 4 points from 6.

Ternana started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, when Partipilo gave them the lead just before half-time Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Ternana included Cassata, Celli, Salim Diakite, Donnarumma and Moro for Coulibaly, Palumbo, Corrado, Partipilo and Favilli, respectively. Perugia brought on Strizzolo, Beghetto, Melchiorri and Olivieri, to replace Santoro, Paz, Di Carmine and Rosi.

There were bookings for Coulibaly, Partipilo and Agazzi from Ternana, and Strizzolo and Casasola, for Perugia.

Ternana will next play Cittadella away, with Perugia facing Pisa at home.
