On Saturday, Palermo FC suffered an away defeat to Ternana Calcio at Stadio Libero Liberati. Ternana were looking to continue their good run after winning their previous two games against Cittadella away and Perugia at home, by 2-0 and 1-0 respectively.

After an uneventful first half, Ternana piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Partipilo, 57 minutes in. Ternana looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Palumbo, at 77 minutes to establish a 2-0. However they weren’t finished yet and Moro made it 3-0 just before the full time to make it 3-0.

Substitutions for Ternana included Salim Diakite, Defendi, Pettinari, Moro and Celli for Capuano, Cassata, Palumbo, Corrado and Donnarumma, respectively.
