SPAL 0 – CTT 0: The Little Swallows crowd must settle for goal-less draw

Wednesday’s fixture between SPAL and CTT delivered a goalless draw at Stadio Paolo Mazza. SPAL arrived at the game looking pick up points, following a previous defeat to Parma. CTT were coming from consecutive wins against Frosinone and Lecce. As the table looks today, SPAL are in 15th place, with 28 points from 27 matches, while CTT sit in 9th, with 42 points from 27.

For SPAL, Esposito, Colombo, Zanellato, Mora and Crociata, came on for Viviani, Melchiorri, Pinato, Jacopo Da Riva and Mancosu. CTT replaced Beretta, Branca, Laribi, Tavernelli and Icardi with Antonucci, Mastrantonio, Tounkara, Baldini and Vita.

There were bookings for Meccariello, Esposito and Pinato from SPAL. For CTT, Visentin, Perticone and Tavernelli saw yellow.

SPAL will next play Como away, with CTT facing AC Monza at home.
