REG 0 – Perugia 1: Visitors steal the show at Stadio Oreste Granillo

REG were defeated at home by Perugia at Stadio Oreste Granillo on Saturday. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. REG wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Parma in their previous game. Perugia had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Lecce. As it stands, REG are in 11th place, with 39 points from 29 matches, while Perugia sit in 8th, with 45 points from 29.

After an un-eventful first half, Perugia continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Burrai just before the final whistle. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 1-0 to Perugia.

For REG, Adjapong, Tumminello, Rivas, Bianchi and Kupisz, came on for Lombardi, Montalto, Bellomo, Hetemaj and Crisetig. Perugia brought on Matos, Lisi, Santoro, Ferrarini and Carretta, to replace D’urso, Olivieri, Beghetto, Falzerano and De Luca.

There were bookings for Crisetig, Tumminello, Cionek and Bianchi from REG, and D’urso and Burrai, for Perugia.

REG will next play Cittadella away, with Perugia facing SPAL at home.
