PIS 3 – Como 1: Visitors unable to get win at Arena Garibaldi – Stadio Romeo Anconetani

Pisa strolled past Como with a 3-1 win on Monday at Arena Garibaldi – Stadio Romeo Anconetani. PIS were looking for a victory after a 1-1 draw against Perugia. Como lost 2-1 in the last match they played against Cittadella. As things stand, PIS are currently 5th with 63 points from 35 matches, while Como sit in 14th, with 44 points from 35.

PIS started the game well, with Puşcaş finding the net after only 7 minutes to see out the first half 1-0.

Como took the initiative in the second half, thanks to a goal from Gliozzi, 63 minutes in. However, each side looked hungry to win and PIS then found the back of the net, 68 minutes in thanks to Torregrossa, taking the score to 2-1. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a second effort from Puşcaş, at 78 minutes to make it 3-1.

For PIS, Lucca, Sibilli, De Vitis, Cohen and Touré, came on for Torregrossa, Benali, Mastinu, Marin and Puşcaş. Como replaced Ciciretti, Vignali, Gabrielloni, Kabashi and Álex Blanco with Nardi, Varnier, La Gumina, Arrigoni and Iovine.

There were bookings for Mastinu, Touré and Beruatto from PIS. For Como, Bellemo saw yellow.

PIS will next play Lecce away, with Como facing Vicenza at home.
