Perugia 1-3 PIS: Visitors secure points with win at Stadio Renato Curi

Pisa eased past Perugia in a 3-1 victory on Saturday at Stadio Renato Curi. Perugia arrived at the match looking to pick up more points, following defeat to Ternana Calcio whilst PIS were struggling for form following a draw in their last match. Perugia and PIS are 19th, (4 points) and 18th, (5 points), in the table respectively, after 7 matches.

The first half of the match started well for PIS, with an early goal from Gliozzi in the 4th minute and saw the first half out 1-0.

Perugia took the lead in the second half, when Di Carmine found the net, at 83 minutes. However, each side looked hungry to win and PIS then found the back of the net, 88 minutes in thanks to Gliozzi, taking the score to 2-1. However they weren’t finished yet and Touré made it 3-1 just before the full time to give a final score of 3-1.

Substitutions for Perugia included Santoro, Paz, Olivieri and Di Serio for Kouan, Casasola, Strizzolo and Lisi, respectively. PIS replaced Marin, Jureskin, Morutan and Rus with Tramoni, Mastinu, Sibilli and Jureskin.

There were bookings for Lisi, Bartolomei and Paz from Perugia. For PIS, Mastinu and Nícolas saw yellow.

Perugia will next travel to Como, while PIS will face Parma at home.
