Perugia were defeated at home by Como at Stadio Renato Curi on Sunday. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Perugia wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 1-1 draw with SPAL in their previous game whilst Como are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As it stands, Perugia and Como are 9th, (46 points) and 13th, (41 points), in the table respectively, after 31 matches.

Following a goalless first half, Como continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Ciciretti at the 68 minute mark. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 1-0.

For Perugia, Burrai, Olivieri, Santoro, Lisi and Gyabuaa, came on for Ghion, D’urso, Zanandrea, Falzerano and Beghetto. Como brought on Bovolon, Álex Blanco, Gabrielloni and Peli, to replace Parigini, Cerri, Ciciretti and La Gumina.

There were bookings for Ghion, Falzerano, Kouan and Lisi from Perugia. For Como, Ioannou, Cagnano and Nardi saw yellow.

Perugia will next travel to Crotone, while Como will face AC Monza at home.
