Parma 2 – USA 2: The Crusaders denied all 3 points at the Stadio Ennio Tardini

On Saturday, Parma and USA were held to a 2-2 draw at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. Parma were looking to get back their winning ways, following a previous defeat to Perugia. USA secured a point against Reggina in their previous match. As the table looks today, Parma are currently 12th with 46 points from 37 matches, while USA sit in 16th, with 34 points from 37.

USA started the game well, with Palombi finding the net, 17 minutes in. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Cobbaut equalised for The Crusaders just before half-time. The score at half time was 1-1.

Parma took the lead in the second half, thanks to Vázquez finding the net at the 58 minute mark. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Edoardo Pierozzi equalised for USA, 81 minutes in, leaving the final score at 2-2.

For Parma, Pandev, Rispoli, Tutino and Zagaritis, came on for Inglese, Coulibaly, Benedyczak and Oosterwolde. USA brought on Ba, Fabbrini, Edoardo Pierozzi, Coccolo and Corazza, to replace Gori, Chiarello, Parodi, Casarini and Mantovani.

The referee booked seven players. Oosterwolde and Bernabe from Parma, who saw yellow cards and Simy Nwankwo, sent off with a red, as well as for USA Gori, Parodi, Casarini and Coccolo received yellows.

Parma will next travel to Crotone, while USA will face Vicenza at home.
