Parma 2 – Ternana 3: Visitors steal the show at the Stadio Ennio Tardini

Ternana Calcio banked all three points against the Parma in a 3-2 victory on Saturday, at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were each keen to pick up points. Parma were aiming to improve their league standing following a disappointing 3-3 draw with Genoa in their previous game. Ternana, meanwhile, had managed to pick up a point in their matchup with Nuova Cosenza. Parma are now in 13th place on the table and have 6 points while Ternana sit in 12th with 7 points after 5 matches.

The Crusaders started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, thanks to a goal from Del Prato on the 31 minute mark, and they saw out the first half 1-0.

Ternana started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with an early goal from Coulibaly in the 49th minute. However, each side looked hungry to win and Parma then found the back of the net, at 51 minutes thanks to Inglese, taking the score to 2-1. However, the good fortune didn’t last for long. An equalizer from Donnarumma, 69 minutes in brought Ternana level. They then extended the lead with a goal from Corrado just before the final whistle to give a final score of 3-2.

Substitutions for Parma included Ansaldi, Sohm and Balogh for Mihăilă, Jurić and Circati, respectively. Ternana brought on Agazzi, Capanni, Cassata, Pietro Rovaglia and Ghiringhelli, to replace Salim Diakite, Moro, Coulibaly, Donnarumma and Palumbo.

There were bookings for Estevez from Parma, and Salim Diakite and Capanni, for Ternana.

Parma will next travel to Ascoli, while Ternana will face Perugia at home.
