Parma 3 – CTT 1: Points secure for The Crusaders at the Stadio Ennio Tardini

Parma defeated Cittadella 3-1 on Saturday at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. Parma arrived at the match looking to pick up more points, following defeat to Palermo FC whilst CTT had secured a point against Modena in their previous match. Parma are now in 3rd place on the table and have 22 points while CTT sit in 14th with 15 points after 13 matches.

Parma started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, when Del Prato gave them the lead, 17 minutes in, ending the first half 1-0.

The Crusaders continued to pile on the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, with a goal from Camara on the 59 minute mark. The momentum was again with Parma, who then scored again courtesy of a goal from Benedyczak, 67 minutes in to establish a 3-0 result. In the end though, CTT pull-back, 71 minutes in, with a goal from Antonucci, seing the match finish 3-1.

Substitutions for Parma included Camara, Benedyczak, Man and Bernabé for Bonny, Tutino, Sohm and Inglese, respectively. CTT brought on Carriero, Magrassi, Tounkara, Danzi and Mazzocco for Donnarumma, Mastrantonio, Beretta, Pavan and Lores.

The referee booked two players from CTT, Pavan and Perticone.

Parma next face Modena while CTT are at home to Nuova Cosenza.
