Parma 0 – ASC 1: Visitors ecstatic after win at the Stadio Ennio Tardini

Ascoli snatched all three points from Parma in a 1-0 victory on Monday, at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. Parma were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to Brecia Calcio. ASC were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-0 victory against Reggina. After today’s result, Parma and ASC currently occupy 13th and 7th spots in the league, with 45 points and 58 points respectively after 35 matches.
ASC dominated the first half, with Bidaoui giving ASC the lead just before half-time, seeing out the first half 0-1. The second 45 minutes ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
For Parma, Inglese, Correia and Brunetta, came on for Tutino, Man and Rispoli. ASC replaced Paganini, Quaranta, Baschirotto, Iliev and Eramo with Bidaoui, Bellusci, Collocolo, Dionisi and Caligara.
There were bookings for Vázquez, Bernabe, Danilo and Del Prato from Parma. For ASC, Salvi and Büchel saw yellow.
Parma will next travel to Perugia, while ASC will face Cittadella at home.
