FRO 1 – PIS 2: Visitors at stadio Benito Stirpe secure victory
Pisa secures a 2-1 win against Frosinone at stadio Benito Stirpe on Friday. FRO were looking to get back their winning ways, following a previous defeat to SPAL. PIS had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Nuova Cosenza. Following the final whistle at the end of the last game of the Serie B season, FRO are in 8th place on the table and has 58 points while PIS sit in 4th with 67 points after 38 matches.
It was an impressive opening from PIS, with a goal from Puşcaş in the 16th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Sibilli, at 20 minutes and the first half ended 0-2.
FRO took the initiative in the second half, thanks to Leverbe finding the net, at 65 minutes. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 2-1 to PIS.
For FRO, Anthony Oyono, Novakovich, Rohden, Cicerelli and Tribuzzi, came on for Zampano, Canotto, Boloca, Ciano and Zerbin. PIS brought on Touré, Cohen, Mastinu and De Vitis, to replace Siega, Puşcaş, Sibilli and Marin.
There were bookings for Barišić, Ciano, Rohden and Cotali from FRO. For PIS, Leverbe, Nícolas and Marin saw yellow.
