Frosinone ease to victory over AC Monza 4-1 on Monday at stadio Benito Stirpe. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. FRO arrived with the intention of increasing their league score following a disappointing 4-4 draw with Ternana Calcio in their previous game. ASS were unable to beat Brecia Calcio in a 1-1 draw. As it stands, FRO and ASS currently occupy 8th and 3rd spots in the league, with 58 points and 64 points respectively after 36 matches.

ASS scored first, with Mota giving ASS the lead after 13 minutes. However, they were unable to maintain their lead, Ciano managed to equalize and take the sides off at the 37 minute mark at 1-1. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Zerbin just before half-time. The first half ended 2-1.

FRO started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with an early calamitous own goal from Di Gregorio in the 49th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Canotto made it 4-1 just before the final whistle with a final score of 4-1.

For FRO, Canotto, Tribuzzi, Cicerelli and Hamza Haoudi, came on for Garritano, Ciano, Novakovich and Zerbin. ASS brought on Mazzitelli, Gytkjaer, Pedro Pereira, Mancuso and Lorenzo Pirola, to replace Mattia Valoti, Barberis, D’Alessandro, Donati and Molina.
