Como 0 – VIC 2: Visitors steal the show at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia

Vicenza eased past Como in a 2-0 victory on Monday at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia. Both Como and VIC came from defeats in their previous league games. Como were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 3-1 to Pisa. VIC lost 2-1 in the last match they played against Perugia. Following today’s result, Como are in 14th place, with 44 points from 36 matches, while VIC sit in 18th, with 28 points from 36.
VIC dominated the first half, with a goal from Brosco, 36 minutes in, to take a 0-1 lead into half time.
VIC continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Meggiorini, 83 minutes in and seeing the game end 2-0.
For Como, Ciciretti, Arrigoni, La Gumina and Nardi, came on for Álex Blanco, Kabashi, Gabrielloni and Ioannou. VIC brought on Da Cruz, Zonta, Crecco, Crecco and Meggiorini, to replace Bikel, Greco, Lukaku, Diaw and Brosco.
