Como 1-0 Venezia: Home fans cheer their side home to victory

Venezia on away loss to Como at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Sunday. Both teams arrived at the match with previous defeats in the league. Como arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing their last match 1-0 to Parma while Venezia were beaten 2-0 in their previous match against Ascoli. Como are now in 16th place, with 12 points from 12 matches, while Venezia sit in 19th, with 9 points from 12.

After an uneventful first half, Como piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Bellemo gave them the lead on the 65 minute mark. They managed to close the match out with a clean sheet and a well-earned of 1-0 victory.

Substitutions for Como included Cagnano, Fàbregas, Parigini, Cutrone and Iovine for Ioannou, Baselli, Álex Blanco, Mancuso and Arrigoni, respectively. Venezia brought on Johnsen, Cheryshev and Pierini, to replace Cuisance, Pohjanpalo and Haps.

There were bookings for Solini and Cas Odenthal from Como, and Haps and Wiśniewski, for Venezia.

Como will next play Genoa away, with Venezia facing Reggina at home.
