Como 1-0 Perugia: Como dig out a tight home win

Como beated Perugia 1-0 on Sunday at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia. Both Como and Perugia came from defeats in their previous league games. Como were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last match 3-1 to Nuova Cosenza. Perugia were beaten 3-1 in their previous match against Pisa. Como and Perugia are 19th, (6 points) and 20th, (4 points), in the table respectively, after 8 matches.

It was an impressive opening from Como, when Arrigoni gave them the lead, 34 minutes in, ending the first half 1-0. The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
