Como 1 – USC 2: Visitors steal the show at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia

Cremonese earn hard-fought win over Como 2-1 on Friday at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia. Como were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run after winning last match while USC were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Ascoli. This left, Como are in 13th place on the table and has 47 points while USC sit in 2nd with 69 points after 38 matches.

USC started the game well, with Di Carmine giving USC the lead, 28 minutes in. USC then scored once more and increased their lead thanks to a penalty 2nd effort from Di Carmine just before half-time and seeing the first half out 0-2.

Como took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Bellemo just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 2-1.

For Como, La Gumina, Ciciretti, Kabashi, Gabrielloni and Elia Di Giuliomaria, came on for Gliozzi, Álex Blanco, Arrigoni, Cerri and Parigini. USC brought on Baez, Buonaiuto, Ciofani, Gondo and Crescenzi, to replace Strizzolo, Zanimacchia, Fagioli, Di Carmine and Valeri.

There were bookings for Parigini, Gori and Ioannou from Como. For USC, Luca Valzania saw yellow.
