CTT 1 – Brescia 0: Visitors unable to get win at Stadio Pier Cesare Tombolato
On Saturday, Brecia Calcio suffer an away defeat to Cittadella at Stadio Pier Cesare Tombolato. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. CTT wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Ascoli in their previous game. Brescia were unable to beat SPAL in a 1-1 draw. As it stands, CTT are in 11th place on the table and has 52 points while Brescia sit in 6th with 63 points after 37 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, CTT piled on the pressure in the second, thanks to Cassandro giving CTT the lead at the 62 minute mark, leaving the final score at 1-0.
For CTT, Icardi, Danzi, Laribi, Del Fabro and Lores, came on for Mattioli, Mastrantonio, Visentin, Antonucci and Cassandro. Brescia brought on Léris, Palacio, Huard, Jagiello and Bianchi, to replace Bajić, Van De Looi, Pajač, Bertagnoli and Tramoni.
There were bookings for Visentin, Beretta and Del Fabro from CTT. For Brescia, Van De Looi saw yellow.
CTT will next travel to Nuova Cosenza, while Brescia will face Reggina at home.
