ASC 2 – REG 0: Visitors unable to get win at Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca

Reggina on away loss to ASC at Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca on Sunday. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. ASC were looking to get back their winning ways, following a previous defeat to AC Monza. REG lost 3-0 in the last match they played against Benevento. As the table looks today, ASC and REG currently occupy 7th and 14th spots in the table, with 55 points and 44 points respectively after 34 matches.

After a goalless first half, ASC applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Caligara at the 56 minute mark. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Bidaoui in the 67th minute to make it 2-0.

For ASC, Dario Saric, Maistro, Paganini, Eramo and Iliev, came on for Collocolo, Ricci, Caligara, Bidaoui and Dionisi. REG brought on Lombardi, Rivas, Kupisz, Tumminello and Cortinovis, to replace Bellomo, Montalto, Giraudo, Ménez and Aya.

There were bookings for Bellusci, Caligara, Collocolo and Büchel from ASC. For REG, Ménez, Stavropoulos, Montalto, Cionek, Folorunsho and Hetemaj saw yellow.

ASC will next play Parma away, with REG facing Lecce at home.
