ASC 1 – Parma 3: The Crusaders leave Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca with all 3 points

Parma eased past Ascoli in a 3-1 victory on Saturday at Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca. Both ASC and Parma arrived at the match with previous defeats in the league. ASC were looking forward to playing again, following defeat to Perugia. Parma were beaten 3-2 in their previous match against Ternana Calcio. ASC are now in 10th place on the table and have 8 points while Parma sit in 6th with 9 points after 6 matches.

Parma started the match strongly, when Tutino gave them the lead after only 7 minutes. Parma then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Inglese on the 18 minute mark to see out the first half 2-0.

The Crusaders continued to apply pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Man found the net, 66 minutes in. In the end though, ASC hit back though via a Lungoyi goal, 79 minutes in, leaving the final score at 3-1.

Substitutions for ASC included Guarna, Adjapong, Dionisi, Lungoyi and Mendes for Baumann, Simone Giordano, Falzerano, Gondo and Bidaoui, respectively. Parma brought on Circati, Man, Hainaut, Sohm and Benedyczak, to replace Romagnoli, Camara, Tutino, Vázquez and Inglese.

There were bookings for Salvi, Dionisi, Lungoyi and Bellusci from ASC, and Vázquez, Oosterwolde, Hainaut and Jurić, for Parma.

ASC will play their next fixture away against Benevento, while Parma will face Frosinone at home.
