ASS 1 – Brescia 1: Honours even at Stadio Comunale Brianteo
ASS were held to 1-1 draw by Brescia down on Monday at Stadio Comunale Brianteo. Both ASS and Brescia arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. ASS were looking to continue their run after winning their previous two games in the competition. The most recent was against the Nuova Cosenza away (2-0), the other to Ascoli at home (2-0). Brescia were looking to extend their winning run after a 1-0 victory against Parma. After a goalless first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on ASS who started the second half well, with an early goal from Pepín in the 49th minute. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Bisoli equalised for Brescia in the 81st minute. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.
For ASS, Pepín, Marrone, Mota, Mancuso and Pedro Pereira, came on for Mattia Valoti, Caldirola, Colpani, Barberis and D’Alessandro. Brescia replaced Tramoni, Behrami, Bajić, Karacic and Jagiello with Moreo, Proia, Van De Looi, Sabelli and Léris.
