Santos 4 – San Luis 1: “Los Atléticos” ship 4 at Estadio Tsm Corona

Santos Laguna strolled past Atl. San Luis with a 4-1 win on Monday at Estadio Tsm Corona. Santos were looking to continue their run after winning their previous two matches against Tijuana away and Pumas away, by 2-0 and 5-1 respectively. San Luis are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As things stand, Santos and San Luis currently occupy 6th and 9th spots in the table, with 19 points and 14 points respectively after 11 matches.
Santos didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, when Eduardo Aguirre opened the rout, at 8 minutes, finishing the first half 1-0.
Guerreros started the second half with an intensified spirit, with an early goal from Leonardo Suarez in the 49th minute. Santos looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Javier Correa, 64 minutes in to establish a 3-0.
