Necaxa 0 – Chivas 4: Home side humiliated by travelling Estadio Victoria

Guadalajara rolls over Necaxa 4-0 on Saturday at Estadio Victoria. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Necaxa arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after a 2-2 draw against Puebla. Chivas, on the other hand, had managed to pick up a single point in their matchup with Atlas. As the table looks today, Necaxa and Chivas sit 7th, (13 points) and 13th, (9 points), in the league respectively, after 10 matches.
Las Chivas didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, when Angel Zaldívar opened the rout, 30 minutes in. Chivas then scored once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Roberto Alvarado at the 33 minute mark, finishing the first half 2-0.
Chivas started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, when Fernando Beltran found the net, at 53 minutes. However they weren’t finished yet and Angel Zaldívar made it 4-0, 69 minutes in with a final score of 4-0.
Substitutions for Necaxa included Bryan Garnica, Vicente Poggi, Diego Gomez, Jose Godinez and Juan Pablo Segovia for Heriberto Jurado, Jose Jaoquin Esquivel, Angelo Araos, Facundo Batista and Luis Quintana, repectively. Chivas brought on Pavel Perez, Ruben Gonzalez, Carlos Cisneros, Cristian Calderon and Santiago Ormeno for Fernando Beltran, Sergio Flores, Jesus Sanchez, Alexis Vega and Angel Zaldívar.

Necaxa will next play Tigres UANL away, with Chivas facing Pumas at home.
