Mazatlán 1 – San Luis 1: Honours even and points shared at Estadio de Mazatlan

Mazatlán were held to 1-1 draw by San Luis down on Saturday at Estadio de Mazatlan. Mazatlán were looking for a victory following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Pachuca in their previous game. San Luis, on the other hand, were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Monterrey. As the table looks today, Mazatlán are in 16th place in the table and have 1 point while San Luis sit in 13th with 3 points after 4 matches.

The first half of the match started well for Mazatlán, with a goal from Gonzalo Sosa in the 36th minute. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Abel Hernandez equalised for San Luis in the 39th minute, ending the first half 1-1. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-1.

Substitutions for Mazatlán included Oswaldo Alanis, Brian Rubio, Josue Colman, Emilio Sanchez and Andres Montano for Raul Sandoval, Gonzalo Sosa, Marco Fabian, Nicolas Benedetti and Roberto Meraz, repectively.
