San Luis 0 – Cruz Azul 0: Stalemate as “Los Atléticos” hold visitors to a draw

On Wednesday, San Luis and Cruz Azul were held to a 0-0 draw at Alfonso Lastras Ramirez. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. San Luis arrived with the intention of increasing their league score following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Mazatlán in their previous game while Cruz Azul are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, both teams are on 5 points and sit in 12th and 11th places respectively after 5 matches.

Both teams used all available substitutes. Substitutions for San Luis included Vitinho, Rubens Sambueza and Juan Castro for Facundo Waller, Javier Guemez and Andres Iniestra, repectively, Cruz Azul brought on Christian Tabo, Angel Romero and Jose Martinez, to replace Santiago Gimenez, Alejandro Mayorga and Julio Cesar Dominguez.
