Villarreal 2-0 Osasuna: Yellow Submarine bank maximum points

On Monday, Osasuna suffered an away defeat to Villarreal at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia. Both teams arrived at the match with previous defeats in the league. Villarreal were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last match 1-0 to Real Sociedad. Osasuna lost 2-1 in their against Valencia. Villarreal are now in 7th place on the table and have 15 points while Osasuna sit in 9th with 13 points after 9 matches.

The Yellow Submarine staged a comeback in the second half, when Arnaut Danjuma found the net once more, at 52 minutes, leaving the final score at 2-0.

Substitutions for Villarreal included Jose Luis Morales, Alberto Moreno, Samuel Chukwueze and Manu Trigueros for Nicolas Jackson, Arnaut Danjuma, Yeremi Pino and Manu Morlanes, respectively. Osasuna brought on Aimar Oroz, Ruben Garcia, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, Manu Sanchez and Ante Budimir, to replace Lucas Torro, Moi Gomez, Ezequiel Avila, David Garcia and Kike Garcia.

There were bookings for Raul Albiol and Manu Trigueros from Villarreal. For Osasuna, Darko Brasanac, Sergio Herrera, Juan Cruz, Kike Garcia, Ruben Garcia and Aimar Oroz saw yellow.

Villarreal will next play Barcelona away, with Osasuna facing Espanyol at home.
