Real Madrid 2-1 Cádiz: Home win for Los Blancos

Cádiz on away loss to RMA at Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday. RMA were looking to get back to winning ways after losing 3-2 to Rayo Vallecano in their previous fixture whilst Cádiz were struggling for form following a draw in their last match. RMA are currently 2nd with 35 points from 14 matches, while Cádiz sit in 19th, with 11 points from 14.

The first half of the match started well for RMA, when Eder Militao gave them the lead just before half-time

Los Blancos once more applied the pressure in the second half and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Toni Kroos in the 70th minute. gaditano in turn, then responded, at 82 minutes, grabbing the lead with an effort from Lucas Perez, seing the match finish 2-1.

Substitutions for RMA included Dani Ceballos, Eduardo Camavinga and Nacho for Rodrygo, Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez, respectively. Cádiz brought on Theo Bongonda, Brian Ocampo, Lucas Perez, Jose Mari and Alvaro Negredo, to replace Ivan Alejo, Ruben Alcaraz, Anthony Lozano, Juan Cala and Ruben Sobrino.

There were bookings for Eder Militao, Vinicius Junior and David Alaba from RMA, and Fali, Ruben Sobrino and Ivan Alejo, for Cádiz.

RMA will next play Real Valladolid away, with Cádiz facing Almería at home.
