Seville were held to 1-1 draw by Valladolid down on Friday at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Both sides arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. Seville were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last match 2-1 to Osasuna. Valladolid lost 3-0 in the last match they played against Villarreal. As it stands, both teams are on 1 point and sit in 13th and 15th places after 2 matches.

After an uneventful first half, Pucelle fought back the second half, when Anuar gave Valladolid the lead in the 80th minute. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Karim Rekik equalised for Seville just before the final whistle. The final result, Seville 1, Valladolid 1.

Substitutions for Seville included Youssef En-Nesyri, Lucas Ocampos, Isco, Alex Telles and Ivan Rakitic for Rafa Mir, Joan Jordan, Papu Gomez, Marcos Acuna and Oliver Torres, repectively. Valladolid brought on Joaquin Fernandez, Lucas Olaza, Monchu, Oscar Plano and Sergio Leon, to replace Jawad El Yamiq, Sergio Escudero, Sergi Guardiola, Roque Mesa and Ivan Sanchez.

Seville and Valladolid played a tough match where the referee sanctioned Seville with yellow cards to Gonzalo Montiel, Lucas Ocampos and Isco and with red card to Marcos Acuna, while from Valladolid Luis Perez and Lucas Olaza were booked and red to Jawad El Yamiq.

Next up, Seville are away to Almería, whilst Valladolid will travel to face Barcelona.
