Real Betis 1-1 Valencia: The White and Blues denied all three points
Real were helde ach other to a 1-1 draw by Valencia on Sunday at the Reale Arena. Both sides came from defeats in their previous league games. Real were looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last match 2-0 to Real Betis. Valencia were beaten 1-0 in their previous match against Barcelona. Real are now in 6th place on the table and have 23 points while Valencia sit in 11th with 16 points after 13 matches.
The first half of the match started well for Real, when Hugo Guillamon found the net, 10 minutes in. However, their lead was short-lived, as Lino equalised for The Bats in the 25th minute, to take a 1-1 lead into half time. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-1 at full time.
Substitutions for Real included Jon Pacheco, Andoni Gorosabel, Jon Magunacelaya and Ander Guevara for Brais Mendez, Illarramendi, Carlos Fernandez and Mikel Merino, respectively. Valencia brought on Cenk Ozkacar, Nicolas Gonzalez, Hugo Duro, Samu Castillejo and Dimitri Foulquier for Gabriel Paulista, Hugo Guillamon, Marcos De Sousa, Justin Kluivert and Yunus Musah.
The referee booked Diego Rico Salguero and Martin Zubimendi and Aritz Elustondo saw the red card, for Real.
Real will next travel to Seville, while Valencia will face Real Betis at home.
