Real 0 – Betis 0: The White and Blues and The Green-and-Whites, no goals so points shared

Real were held to 0-0 draw by Betis down on Friday at the Reale Arena. Both Real and Betis arrived on the back of wins. Real were looking to continue their run after winning their previous two matches against Elche away and Espanyol at home, by 2-1 and 1-0 respectively. Betis were coming from consecutive wins against Cádiz and Osasuna. As the table looks today, Real are in 6th place, with 55 points from 32 matches, while Betis sit in 5th, with 57 points from 32.

Both coaches used the full entitlement. For Real, Adnan Januzaj, Portu and Aritz Elustondo, came on for Rafinha, Alexander Isak and Andoni Gorosabel, Betis brought on Aitor Ruibal, Joaquin and Willian Jose to replace William Carvalho, Juanmi and Borja Iglesias.

The referee booked eight players. Rafinha, David Silva and Alexander Sorloth from Real, who saw yellow cards and David Silva (2 yellow cards), sent off with a red, as well as for Betis William Carvalho, Guido Rodriguez, Claudio Bravo and Marc Bartra also seeing yellows.

Real next face Barcelona and Betis are at home to Elche.
