Next Wednesday at 8:00pm GMT, on matchday 10 of the LaLiga, we will see Real play Mallorca at the Reale Arena.

It’s a trip to the Reale Arena for fifth placed Real on Wednesday, as they take on twelfth placed Mallorca.

Real Sociedad’s LaLiga season, has so far seen them gain 19 points, going into this game

Returning to match-winning form, following a defeat is always a tough challenge, but that is what Real need now, after their loss to Celta Vigo at Municipal de Balaidos.

Also, Imanol Alguacil’s Real have enjoyed excellent form all season. They currently stand fifth in the League, with 19 points for a total of 6 wins, 2 losses and 1 draws having won six games, drawn one game, and lost two meetings.

When Real host Mallorca, they will do so on the back of two victories, one dart, and one defeat on their own ground.

A win in this fixture, would take Real Sociedad’s points from 19 to 22, so far this season.

Good Attacking Performance

This has been a good season so far for Real, in terms of goals scored (15). This has been largely down to the key attacking players: Brais Mendez (5), Alexander Sorloth (3), and Take (2). Real have conceded 12 goals.

It is likely that seven key players will miss Wednesday’s fixture, which is something of a concern for Imanol Alguacil and his Real team.

Mallorca have nine points to their name, going into this tie

Javier Aguirre will know at the end of this next match, whether Mallorca’s season is back on track, having lost their last fixture and drawn against Elche before that.

Also, Javier Aguirre’s Mallorca have lost three of their last five matches this season. With nine points, they currently sit twelfth in the League. The breakdown for the team’s record is 2 wins, 4 losses and 3 draws having won two meetings, drawn three matches, and lost four games.

Mallorca will travel to Real with a win record on the road that is quite unremarkable, with one victory, two draws, and one defeats.

A win in this fixture would take Mallorca’s points to 12 in the League.

Mallorca may have to resort to second choice players, given the number of first choice players that are now unavailable through injury, illness or suspension.
