Real 3 – Cádiz 0: The White and Blues put gaditano to the sword

Real Sociedad’s 3-0 win over Cádiz on Thursday, was hard fought at the Reale Arena. Real were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 2-1 to Levante whilst Cádiz were able to continue their winning streak after a 3-0 win against Elche in their last match. After today’s result, Real are in 6th place, with 59 points from 36 matches, while Cádiz sit in 17th, with 35 points from 36.

The White and Blues started the first half well, with Alexander Sorloth opening the rout at the 19 minute mark. They then managed to see out the first half 1-0.

Real fought back, with Adnan Januzaj finding the net, at 53 minutes. However they weren’t finished yet and Portu made it 3-0 just before the final whistle to make it 3-0.

For Real, Jon Guridi, Portu, Aihen Munoz and Jon Pacheco, came on for Rafinha, Adnan Januzaj, Diego Rico Salguero and Igor Zubeldia. Cádiz replaced Ivan Alejo, Anthony Lozano, Ruben Alcaraz, Isaac Carcelén and Alvaro Negredo with Tomás Alarcon, Oussama Idrissi, Jose Mari, Ivan Alejo and Ruben Sobrino.

There were bookings for Rafinha, David Silva, Igor Zubeldia and Portu from Real, and Jose Mari, for Cádiz.

Real will next travel to Villarreal, while Cádiz will face R Madrid at home.
