Betis 4 – Osasuna 1: The Green-and-Whites blaze past Los Rojillos at the Estadio Benito Villamarin

Betis enjoyed a mesmerising home victory against Osasuna at the Estadio Benito Villamarin on Sunday. Betis were looking for a victory following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Celta Vigo in their previous game. Osasuna were able to continue their winning streak after a 3-1 win against Levante in their last match. As the table looks today, Betis are in 5th place on the table and has 53 points while Osasuna sit in 10th with 38 points after 30 matches.
The first half of the game started favourably for The Green-and-Whites, with Juanmi opening the rout, at 34 minutes. Betis then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a 2nd effort from Juanmi just before half-time. The score at half time was 2-0.
Los Rojillos took the initiative in the second half, with a goal from Ante Budimir in the 65th minute. However, The Green-and-Whites increased their advantage following a William Carvalho goal at the 82 minute mark to make it 3-1. Betis then scored again and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Alex Moreno just before the final whistle with a final score of 4-1.
