Osasuna 1 – Getafe 1: Points Shared at the Estadio El Sadar

Osasuna were held to 1-1 draw by Getafe down on Wednesday at the Estadio El Sadar. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Osasuna wanted to improve their league standing following a 1-1 draw with Espanyol in their previous game. Getafe, on the other hand, had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Rayo Vallecano. As the table looks today, Osasuna and Getafe are 9th, (47 points) and 15th, (38 points), in the league respectively, after 36 matches.
Osasuna started the first half well, thanks to Oier finding the net in the 9th minute. However, their lead was short lived, as Lucas Torro equalised for Getafe, at 20 minutes, finalising the first half 1-1. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-1.
For Osasuna, Jon Moncayola, Ante Budimir, Darko Brasanac, Kike Barja and Barbero, came on for Oier, Kike Garcia, Roberto Torres, Ruben Garcia and Lucas Torro. Getafe brought on Oscar, Okay Yokuslu, Sandro Ramirez and Damian Suarez, to replace Florentino Luis, Borja Mayoral, Enes Unal and Juan Iglesias.
The referee booked Ezequiel Avila and Kike Garcia from Osasuna. Getafe had the worst of it though, with Jorge Cuenca, Stefan Mitrovic, Mauro Arambarri and David Soria seeing yellow, and Stefan Mitrovic then sent off with a red.
Osasuna will next travel to Athletic Bilbao, while Getafe will face Barcelona at home.
