Osasuna 0 – Atleti 3: Visitors cruise past Los Rojillos at the Estadio El Sadar

Osasuna on Saturday lost to Atletico Madrid on a home defeat at the Estadio El Sadar. Both sides arrived fresh from some positive results. Osasuna had been hopeful of continuing their run, following a 3-0 victory against Rayo Vallecano. Atleti, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 4-3 victory against Getafe. As it stands, Osasuna and Atleti currently occupy 9th and 4th spots in the league, with 32 points and 42 points respectively after 25 matches.
Atleti found the net first, with an early goal from Joao Felix in the 3rd minute, finalising the first half 0-1.
Los Colchoneros continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Luis Suarez finding the net in the 59th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Angel Correa just before the final whistle with a final score of 3-0.
