Mallorca 0 – RMA 3: Visitors cruise past The Vermilions at Estadi de Son Moix

R Madrid enjoyed a mesmerising away victory against Mallorca at Estadi de Son Moix on Monday. Mallorca were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 4-3 to Celta Vigo whilst RMA were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Real Sociedad and Rayo Vallecano. As the table looks today, Mallorca are in 16th place on the table and has 26 points while RMA sit in 1st with 66 points after 28 matches.

After an un-eventful first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on RMA who started the second half well, with a goal from Vinicius Junior at the 55 minute mark. Los Blancos looked to have the game under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Karim Benzema, 77 minutes in to establish a 2-0. RMA then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a second effort from Karim Benzema, 82 minutes in to make it 3-0.

For Mallorca, Salva Sevilla, Abdon, Kang In Lee, Amath Ndiaye and Clement Grenier, came on for Antonio Sanchez, Angel Rodriguez, Take, Dani Rodriguez and Iddrisu Baba. RMA brought on Luka Modric, Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Carvajal, Marco Asensio and Marcelo, to replace Federico Valverde, Casemiro, Lucas Vazquez, Rodrygo and Ferland Mendy.

There were bookings for Angel Rodriguez, Raillo and Pablo Maffeo from Mallorca, and Isco, Vinicius Junior and Lucas Vazquez, for RMA.

Mallorca will next play Espanyol away, with RMA facing Barcelona at home.
