Levante strolled past Villarreal with a 2-0 win on Saturday at the Ciutat de Valencia. Both teams arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. After today’s result, Levante are in 19th place, with 22 points from 30 matches, while Villarreal sit in 7th, with 45 points from 30.

After an un-eventful first half, Levante piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Jose Luis Morales giving The Frogs the lead in the 69th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Jose Luis Morales made it 2-0 just before the final whistle to make it 2-0.

For Levante, Ruben Vezo, Son, Jose Campana, Shkodran Mustafi and Mickael Malsa, came on for Martin Caceres, Enric Franquesa, Gonzalo Melero, Sergio Postigo and Roger Marti. Villarreal brought on Francis Coquelin, Giovani Lo Celso, Serge Aurier, Pervis Estupinan and Paco Alcacer, to replace Etienne Capoue, Manu Trigueros, Juan Foyth, Alfonso Pedraza and Arnaut Danjuma.
