Levante ease to a comfortable 4-1 win at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Granada arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing 4-2 to Seville in their last fixture. Levante, on the other hand, were beaten 3-2 in the previous match against Barcelona. As the table looks today, Granada are in 16th place, with 29 points from 32 matches, while Levante sit in 20th, with 22 points from 32.

The Frogs started the first half well, with Dani Gomez opening the rout, 17 minutes in, to take a 0-1 lead into half time.

Levante continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Jose Luis Morales finding the net in the 56th minute. Levante looked to have the game under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Mickael Malsa, 77 minutes in to establish a 3-0. However, Granada weren’t lying down and managed to pull back a goal from Alex Collado at the 90 minute mark. In the end though, Levante secured the points emphatically, with a goal from Roberto Soldado just before the final whistle, which sealed the victory for the visitors.

For Granada, Alex Collado, Myrto Uzuni, Angel Montoro, Matias Arezo and Ismael Ruiz Sánchez, came on for Victor Diaz, Antonio Puertas, Luis Milla, Jorge Molina and Njegos Petrovic. Levante brought on Marc Pubill Pages, Mickael Malsa, Oscar Duarte, Alejandro Cantero and Roberto Soldado, to replace Jorge Miramon, Nemanja Radoja, Sergio Postigo, Dani Gomez and Jose Luis Morales.

The referee booked Victor Diaz, German Sanchez, Njegos Petrovic and Darwin Machis from Granada and German Sanchez (2 yellow cards) went off with a red card, while Levante’s Nemanja Radoja and Dani Cardenas also received a yellow.
