Barca 4-0 Valladolid: Lewandowski on target again as Barca ease to win
Barcelona ease to victory over Real Valladolid 4-0 on Sunday at the Nou Camp. Barca were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Valladolid had managed to pick up a single point in their matchup with Seville. As it stands, Barca and Valladolid sit 2nd and 19th places with 7 points and 1 point respectively.
It was an impressive opening from Barca, when Robert Lewandowski opened the rout in the 24th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Pedri made it 2-0 just before halftime, finishing the first half 2-0.
Los Blaugranas continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Robert Lewandowski found the net again, at 65 minutes. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Sergi Roberto just before the final whistle to make it 4-0.
Substitutions for Barca included Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie De Jong, Franck Kessie and Ferran Torres for Raphinha, Ronald Araujo, Gavi, Sergio Busquets and Ousmane Dembele, repectively. Valladolid replaced Monchu, Alvaro Aguado, Ivan Sanchez, Sergi Guardiola and Anuar for Oscar Plano, Roque Mesa, Toni Villa, Sergio Leon and Robert Arroyo.
The referee booked Monchu, Javi Sanchez and Kike Perez for Valladolid.
Barca will next travel to Seville, while Valladolid will face Almería at home.
