Athletic Bilbao 1-0 Valencia: The Lions have the edge over Valencia

Athletic Bilbao strolled past Valencia with a 1-0 win on Sunday at San Mames Stadium. Athletic Bilbao wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Mallorca in their previous game. Valencia, on the other hand, had been hopeful of extending their winning run, after a 1-0 victory against Girona. As it stands, Athletic Bilbao and Valencia currently occupy 5th and 9th spots in the table, with 4 points and 3 points respectively after 2 matches.

Athletic Bilbao started the match well, when Alex Berenguer found the net just before halftime Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.
