Napoli see Rangers off 3-0 on Wednesday at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Napoli were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games against Ajax at home and Ajax away, by 4-2 and 6-1 respectively, while Rangers were beaten 7-1 in their previous match against Liverpool. Napoli and Rangers currently occupy 1st and 4th spots in the league, with 15 points and 0 points respectively after 5 matches.

Napoli found the net first, when Giovanni Simeone opened the rout, 11 minutes in. Gli Azzurri then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a 2nd effort from Giovanni Simeone on the 16 minute mark, to take a 2-0 lead into half time.

Napoli continued to pile on the pressure in the second half and were rewarded, with a goal from Leo Ostigard, 80 minutes in, leaving the final score at 3-0.

Substitutions for Napoli included Hirving Lozano, Gianluca Gaetano, Piotr Zielinski, Alessio Zerbin and Alessandro Zanoli for Matteo Politano, Eljif Elmas, Stanislav Lobotka, Giacomo Raspadori and Giovanni Di Lorenzo, respectively. Rangers brought on Fashion Sakala, Scott Arfield, Antonio Colak and Borna Barisic, to replace Scott Wright, Malik Tillman, Alfredo Morelos and Leon Thomas King.

There were bookings for Min-jae Kim and Mario Rui from Napoli. For Rangers, Ben Davies and John Lundstram saw yellow.

Napoli will next travel to Liverpool, while Rangers will face Ajax at home.
