Inter 1-0 Barcelona: Los Blaugranas succumb to Nerazzurri

Internazionale defeated Barcelona 1-0 on Tuesday at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Inter were looking to pick up points, following a 2-0 victory against Viktoria Pilsen. Barca had lost their previous match against Bayern Munich. Inter and Barca currently occupy 2nd and 3rd spots in the table, with 6 points and 3 points respectively after 3 matches.

Inter dominated the first half, when Hakan Calhanoglu gave them the lead just before half-time Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

Substitutions for Inter included Edin Dzeko, Denzel Dumfries, Francesco Acerbi, Robin Gosens and Kristjan Asllani for Joaquin Correa, Federico Dimarco, Stefan De Vrij, Matteo Darmian and Hakan Calhanoglu, respectively. Barca brought on Gerard Pique, Ansu Fati, Alejandro Balde and Franck Kessie, to replace Andreas Christensen, Raphinha, Marcos Alonso and Gavi.

There were bookings for Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, Lautaro Martinez, Alessandro Bastoni and Andre Onana from Inter, and Sergio Busquets and Gavi, for Barca.

Inter will next play Barcelona away, with Barca facing Internazionale at home.
