Zagreb 0-4 Milan: Rossoneri steal the show at the Stadion Maksimir

AC Milan cruises against Dinamo Zagreb on an away win at the Stadion Maksimir on Tuesday. Zagreb were looking for a victory after a 1-1 draw against FC Salzburg. Milan had lost their previous match against Chelsea. Zagreb and Milan are 4th, (4 points) and 2nd, (7 points), spots respectively, after 5 matches.

Milan started the match strongly, when Matteo Gabbia opened the rout, 39 minutes in, saw out the first half 1-0.

Rossoneri started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with an early goal from Rafael Leao in the 49th minute. Milan looked to have the match under control when they scored again to grab the advantage, thanks to a goal from Olivier Giroud, at 59 minutes to establish a 3-0. Rossoneri then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Robert Ljubicic in the 69th minute to give a final score of 4-0.

Substitutions for Zagreb included Martin Baturina, Josip Drmic, Dario Spikic, Petar Bockaj and Marko Bulat for Arijan Ademi, Bruno Petkovic, Stefan Ristovski, Mislav Orsic and Josip Misic, respectively. Milan brought on Rade Krunic, Fode Toure, Tommaso Pobega, Junior Messias and Divock Origi, to replace Charles De Ketelaere, Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer, Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud.

There were bookings for Arijan Ademi and Robert Ljubicic from Zagreb. For Milan, Charles De Ketelaere saw yellow.

Zagreb will play away against Chelsea, while Milan will face FC Salzburg at home.
