Brugge 2-0 Atletico Madrid: Atleti upset in Belgium
Club Brugge banked all three points against the Atletico Madrid in a 2-0 victory on Tuesday, at the Jan Breydel Stadium. Brugge were looking to continue their good run after winning their previous two matches in the league. The most recent was against the Porto away (4-0), the other to Bayer Leverkusen at home (1-0), while Atleti had lost their previous match against Bayer Leverkusen. It was an impressive opening from Brugge, thanks to a goal from Kamal Sowah, 36 minutes in, and they saw out the first half 1-0.
