Tuesday’s fixture between Dortmund and Man City delivered a goalless draw at the Signal Iduna Park. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were each keen to pick up points. Dortmund were looking for a victory after a 1-1 draw against Seville. Man City, meanwhile, had managed to pick up a point in their matchup with Copenhague. Dortmund and Man City are 2nd, (8 points) and 1st, (11 points), spots respectively, after 5 matches.

Substitutions for Dortmund included Donyell Malen, Marius Wolf, Anthony Modeste and Antonios Papadopoulos for Karim Adeyemi, Thorgan Hazard, Youssoufa Moukoko and Giovanni Reyna, respectively. Man City brought on Bernardo Silva, Manuel Akanji, Jack Grealish and Cole Palmer, to replace Erling Haaland, Joao Cancelo, Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez.

There were bookings for Mats Hummels from Dortmund, and Joao Cancelo, Julian Alvarez, Ilkay Gundogan and Manuel Akanji, for Man City.

Dortmund will next play Copenhague away, with Man City facing Seville at home.
