Union Berlin 2-1 Gladbach: Iron Ones bounce back to winning form
Union Berlin enjoyed a home victory against B Mönchengladbach at the An der Alten Försterei Stadium on Sunday. Both Union Berlin and Gladbach came from defeats in their previous league games. Union Berlin were looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last match 2-1 to Bochum while Gladbach were beaten 3-1 in their previous match against Eintracht Frankfurt. Gladbach started strongly in the first half, when Nico Elvedi found the net, at 33 minutes, finishing the first half 1-0.
Union Berlin continued to pile on the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Kevin Behrens found the net, at 79 minutes. They then scored again, pulling level thanks to a goal from Danilho Doekhi just before the full time to make it 2-1.
