Hoffenheim on Saturday lost to Wolfsburg on a home defeat at the Pre Zero Arena. Hoffenheim arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing 4-2 to Eintracht Frankfurt in their last match. The Wolves continued to apply pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Ridle Baku found the net on the 56 minute mark, to hand a welcome victory to the visitors.

Substitutions for Hoffenheim included Jacob Bruun Larsen, Fisnik Asllani, Pavel Kaderabek and Joshua Quarshie for Andrej Kramaric, Georginio Rutter, Robert Skov and Dennis Geiger, respectively.
