Hoffenheim 0 – Greuther Fürth 0: Victory and goals elusive for both sides

On Sunday, Hoffenheim and Greuther Fürth were held to a 0-0 draw at the Pre Zero Arena. Both teams arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. Hoffenheim were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to RB Leipzig. Greuther Fürth lost 2-0 in the last match they played against B Mönchengladbach. As it stands, Hoffenheim are in 8th place on the table and has 45 points while Greuther Fürth sit in 18th with 17 points after 30 matches.

For Hoffenheim, Kevin Akpoguma, Havard Nordtveit, Georginio Rutter, Jacob Bruun Larsen and Robert Skov, came on for Chris Richards, Stefan Posch, Munas Dabbur, Pavel Kaderabek and David Raum. Greuther Fürth brought on Dickson Abiama, Jetro Willems, Jessic Ngankam and Gideon Jung, to replace Havard Nielsen, Maximilian Bauer, Dickson Abiama and Julian Green.

There were bookings for Pavel Kaderabek, Christoph Baumgartner and Kevin Vogt from Hoffenheim, and Julian Green, Maximilian Bauer and Sebastian Griesbeck, for Greuther Fürth.

Hoffenheim will next play Eintracht Frankfurt away, with Greuther Fürth facing Bayer Leverkusen at home.
