Hoffenheim 1 – Bayern 1: Points shared at the Pre Zero Arena after draw

On Saturday, Hoffenheim and Bayern were held to a 1-1 draw at the Pre Zero Arena. Hoffenheim were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two matches against FC Köln away and Stuttgart at home, by 1-0 and 2-1 respectively. Bayern secured a point against Bayer Leverkusen in their previous match. As it stands, Hoffenheim and Bayern sit 5th, (44 points) and 1st, (60 points), in the league respectively, after 26 matches.

However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Robert Lewandowski equalised for The Reds just before half-time, finalising the first half 1-1. The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
